The COSRX Vitamin C 13 serum is a highly concentrated serum that contains 13% pure vitamin C, also known as L-ascorbic acid. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps to protect the skin from environmental stressors and free radicals, while also brightening and evening out the skin tone.
In addition to vitamin C, this serum also contains hyaluronic acid, tocotrienol, and allantoin. Which work together to soothe, promote collagen production, and hydrate the skin.
This lightweight formula of the Vitamin C 13 serum makes it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Application
Application
- After cleansing, during the serum phase, shake the bottle lightly once or twice from side to side.
- Apply a few drops to the skin.
- Use fingertips to gently massage and absorb the serum, starting from the inside of the face working towards the edges.

13% ASCORBIC ACID
L-ascorbic acid (a.k.a.ascorbic acid), has been extensively studied for its benefits to the skin. Using concentrations of 5-20% it can improve the appearance of various signs of aging caused by sun damage, such as wrinkles, discolorations, and loss of firmness. Additionally, even lower concentrations of 0.3-2% can offer advantages such as improving uneven skin tone, reducing fine lines, and increasing the skin's antioxidant capacity.
TOCOTRIENOL
It is a primary form of Tocopherol, Vitamin E. Researchers say that the tocotrienol 50x stronger than that of other vitamin E forms.
ALLANTOIN
A soothing ingredient can be found in the roots & leaves of the comfrey plant, but in the cosmetic products is produced mostly synthetically. It is also skin-softening and protecting and can promote wound healing.
SODIUM HYALURONATE
It's a salt form of a famous hyaluronic acid (HA), anatural moisturising factor(NMF).It ismore stableand haslower molecular weightthan HA, therefore penetrates deeper into the epidermis (till stratum granulosum). It rejuvenates the skin by reinforcing andstimulating natural HA productionin the epidermis.
