Delicate Silk Veil Art Primer

The TFIT Delicate Silk Veil Art Primer is a lightweight smoothing primer designed to visibly blur pores, refine uneven skin texture and control excess shine, creating a silky base for longer-lasting and more even makeup application.

The formula is primarily based on dimethicone and several silicone elastomers. These ingredients form an exceptionally smooth, flexible layer over the skin, temporarily filling microscopic irregularities in the skin surface. This creates the characteristic soft-focus effect, making enlarged pores, fine texture and superficial lines appear less noticeable.

Importantly, a primer does not physically shrink pores. The improvement is primarily optical and temporary: by smoothing the surface and diffusing reflected light, the complexion appears more even and refined.

The formulation also contains silica and spherical powder polymers, which contribute to its velvety texture and help absorb excess surface oil. This makes the primer particularly useful in areas where makeup tends to separate or become shiny during the day.

Despite its smoothing and mattifying properties, the formula includes several hydrating components. Butylene glycol and multiple forms of hyaluronic acid, including sodium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid and sodium acetylated hyaluronate, provide humectant support and help maintain moisture within the upper layers of the skin.

The formula is further complemented by a complex of 17 amino acids. Amino acids are naturally present within the skin's Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) and contribute to maintaining hydration and normal barrier function.

Centella asiatica extract is included together with its characteristic triterpenes—asiaticoside, asiatic acid, madecassoside and madecassic acid—providing additional soothing and skin-conditioning support. Allantoin further complements the formula.

Overall, this is primarily a high-performance makeup primer with additional hydrating and skin-conditioning ingredients, rather than a skincare treatment. Its main strength is the immediate transformation of skin texture before makeup.
