COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE

Cocamidopropyl betaine is a gentle surfactant used in skin care products. It is mostly employed as a secondary cleansing agent (co-surfactant). When used alone it is generally too mild to clean adult skin, but sometimes is  used as   cleansing agent in products for children. It is considered low risk for sensitizing skin.

POTASSIUM COCOATE

Potassium Cocoate soap is a coconut oil derived potassium salt. Potassium Cocoate soap contains glycerin, which serves as a natural moisturizer in personal care formulations. Due to its excellent foaming capabilities and soft feel, Potassium Cocoate soap can be used as a base for natural shampoo formulations, liquid soaps and body washes.

SALICYLIC ACID

Salicylic acid (SA) is a BHA widely used for treating problem skin, such as acne, blackheads, whiteheads, and large pores. It is considered the gold standard next to benzoyl peroxide for treating akne. SA exfoliates the skin's surface and pores, making it effective in treating blackheads and preventing acne formation. Additionally, SA is a potent anti-inflammatory agent, making it helpful for acne and rosacea. At-home products with 0.5-2% SA are effective and gentle enough for daily use, with 2% being the maximum strength allowed in at-home products in the EU.

ASIATICOSIDE

One of the key bioactive constituents found in the renowned medicinal herb Centella Asiatica, commonly known as Gotu Kola, is a well-recognized factor for promoting wound healing and displaying antioxidant properties. In laboratory-based in-vitro investigations, it has been demonstrated that Asiaticoside, an element within Centella Asiatica, encourages the production of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), which are polysaccharides present in the intercellular matrix of our skin, along with the synthesis of collagen type I.

MADECASSIC ACID

One of the biologicallyactive components of Centella Asiatica that is thought to contribute to the plant extract's well-documented skin regenerating, wound healing, and moisturizing properties. 

GLYCERINE

Glycerine is a humectant type of moisturizer that is also found naturally in our skin.  It not only moisturises, but keeps lipids in our skin in a healthy state, protects against irritation, restores skin barrier. Effective in 3-10%. Although quite sticky, higher concentrated formulas with glycerine is great for treating extremely dry skin.
