How to use
- Massage shampoo into wet scalp and rinse thoroughly. Squeeze excess water from the hair, apply the hair vinegar mainly through the lengths and rinse again. On a non-irritated scalp, a gentle fingertip massage with the hair vinegar is also permitted by the manufacturer. Reduce use or stop if dryness, burning or itching develops.
A’PIEU Raspberry Vinegar Hair Shampoo + Hair vinegar pairs a foaming shampoo with a lightweight rinse-out conditioning treatment. Use the shampoo to cleanse the scalp, then the hair vinegar to help the lengths feel smoother and easier to manage.
The shampoo’s surfactants remove excess oil and residue. The hair vinegar adds acidic and conditioning components, making the two products different steps rather than interchangeable formulas.
Who is this set for?
Best suited to normal to oily, non-irritated scalp with fine or normal hair. It is particularly useful when roots feel greasy or have styling residue, while the lengths look dull or need light conditioning. The shampoo cleanses the scalp; the hair vinegar adds a smoothing rinse-out step.
With oily roots and dry ends, focus shampoo on the scalp and conditioning on the lengths. Very dry, bleached, thick or curly hair may need a richer conditioner in addition. Both products contain fragrance, and the hair vinegar also contains alcohol, so the set is less suitable for very dry, itchy, inflamed or fragrance-sensitive scalp.
How often should I use the two products?
- Shampoo: start with 2–3 washes per week for normal to oily scalp, then adjust to how quickly roots become oily and how well your scalp tolerates it. A gentler shampoo can be used between applications if needed.
- Hair vinegar: start with 1–2 applications per week after shampooing. It is optional and does not need to follow every wash.
