30 mL

A high concentration AHA (30%) and BHA (2%) solution. AHA (alpha hydroxyl acids) works by exfoliating the top layer of the skin, while BHA (beta hydroxyl acids) exfoliates the skin deeper and cleanses the pores. A real bomb of skin exfoliation. Therefore, use it wise

Application

  • Let your face dry after washing it. Do not apply on the wet skin.
  • Using fingertips, apply the solution evenly on your face and around the neck.
  • Let it sit for 10 minutes or less, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Key ingredients

SALICYLIC ACID

Salicylic acid (SA) is a BHA widely used for treating problem skin, such as acne, blackheads, whiteheads, and large pores. It is considered the gold standard next to benzoyl peroxide for treating akne. SA exfoliates the skin's surface and pores, making it effective in treating blackheads and preventing acne formation. Additionally, SA is a potent anti-inflammatory agent, making it helpful for acne and rosacea. At-home products with 0.5-2% SA are effective and gentle enough for daily use, with 2% being the maximum strength allowed in at-home products in the EU.

MALIC ACID

Malic acid is an AHA and naturally comes from apple. Just like other AHAs it is an exfoliant, that can gently lift off dead skin cells to make it look more fresh. There is not much research about magic acid itself. One study comparing it to glycolic and lactic acids has shown that the latter ones were more effective than magic acid.

LACTIC ACID

Lactic acid is a second well researched AHA after glycolic acid. Like Glycolic acid it has exfoliant and skin hydrating abilities. The main difference between these two molecules is that lactic acid is bigger, and therefore does not penetrate skin as deep as glycolic acid does. Because of that it is a little bit milder exfoliant than glycolic acid.

CITRIC ACID

Citric acid is an AHA and comes from citrus fruits. Just like other AHAs it is an exfoliant, that can gently lift off dead skin cells to make it look more fresh. The research on this acid is poor, mostly analysing this acid in high concentrations (like 20%). One research shows that citric acid increased skin thickness of sun damaged skin.
