SNAIL MUCIN

Secreted by the glands of snails, it protects the surface of the snail's skin and moisturizes to prevent it from getting dry. Snail secretion is known to consist of very similar ingredients as our skin: it contains collagen, elastin, glycosaminoglycans, hyaluronic acid. Because of its richness in these actives and water, snail slime is claimed to a real all rounder: it protects damaged skin, soothes irritated skin, strengthens aging skin, also reducing unwanted pigmentation.
