TRANEXAMIC ACID
In skincare tranexamic acid is used primarily as a brightening agent to treat pigmentations and Melasma. Topically applied, it works by interrupting at least two pathways in skin that if left unchecked can lead to discolorations. Tranexamic acid also makes skinless susceptible to UV light exposure, which ultimately helps skin retain its youthful appearance. All skin types can use it once or twice daily.
