BETAINE SALICYLATE

It is a fatty acid derived from the sugar beet plant. It is a combination of salicylic acid, a famous exfoliant ant Betaine, a great moisturizer. It counts as a mild exfoliant, naturalmoisturizer and skin smoothing agent.A lthough Betaine salicylate is similar to salicylic acid, but unlike it, it is surprisingly gentle on the skin. It is generally accepted that betaine salicylate is twice as gentle as salicylic acid: 4% betaine salicylate product is similar to a 2% salicylic acid one.

GLUCONOLACTONE

Gluconolactone and lactobionic acids is a polyhydroxyacids (PHA) that have comparable benefits to AHA but with less irritation. It can be used even if your skin is very sensitive, rosacea prone or if you are post cosmetic procedure

CITRIC ACID

Citric acid is an AHA and comes from citrus fruits. Itis used primarily in small amounts to adjust the pH of products to prevent them from being too alkaline or basic. In higher concentrations it is an exfoliant like other AHAs, that can gently lift off dead skin cells to make it look more fresh.

HYALURONIC ACID DERIVATES

It is also called a natural moisturising factor, because it is naturally found in skin and can bind up water up to 1000 times its own weight. Depending on its molecular weight it can deliver this water into different layers of the skin making skin look plump and hydrated.
