SOOTHING INGREDIENTS

Soothing ingredients in skincare are those that help to calm and comfort the skin, particularly when it's inflamed, irritated, or sensitive. These ingredients are often derived from natural sources. Soothing ingredients in this formulation: panthenol, allantoin, japanese goldthread, licorice, ginger, green tea, Aloe vera, centella asiatica, bamboo, magnolia. 

ANTIOXIDANTS

HYDROLIZED HYALURONIC ACID

This is the hydrolysate of hyaluronic acid, meaning it has been chemically split up into smaller fragments. It has a lower molecular weight compared to regular hyaluronic acid, which allows it to penetrate the skin more deeply. Once it penetrates the skin, it can bind to water molecules, effectively moisturizing the skin. It also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which can improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

SODIUM ACETYLATED HYALURONATE

It is a modified version of HA: some water-loving -OH groups are replaced by amphipathic (partly water-loving and partly water-hating) acetyl groups. It is claimed to have even better moisture retention ability than normal HA and better affinity to the skin surface.
