RETINOL
Retinol is a derivative of vitamin A and has to be to retinoid acid in skin. It is a potent antioxidant that stimulates collagen production and increases cell turnover, which helps to improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots, and improve overall skin tone. Retinol is also effective in reducing acne and regulating oil production in the skin. However, it can be irritating to some skin types, and its use should be gradually introduced and monitored.
GLYCERINE
Glycerine is a humectant type of moisturizer that is also found naturally in our skin. It not only moisturises, but keeps lipids in our skin in a healthy state, protects against irritation, restores skin barrier. Effective in 3-10%. Although quite sticky, higher concentrated formulas with glycerine is great for treating extremely dry skin.
ALOE VERA
Aloe vera plant is a great moisturizer with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It also helps with skin healing and regeneration.
SODIUM HYALURONATE
It's a sodium form of a famous hyaluronic acid. It is a natural moisturising factor (NMF) which can be found in the skin. It is famous of its crazy abilities to hold onto water up to 1000 times more its own weight. In the skin it acts like a sponge, helping skin to be hydrated and look plump.
TOCOPHERYL ACETATE
It is the form of Vitamin E. Compared to tocopherol, it is more stable and has longer shelf life. However, it may have less photoprotective effects than pure form of vitamin E.
