The SOME BY MI Real Cica Calming Care Mask is a soothing sheet mask developed for skin that feels irritated, stressed or temporarily sensitized. Its formula combines Centella asiatica (Cica) with its characteristic active compounds and a selection of hydrating and calming ingredients.
From a medical skincare perspective, Centella asiatica is one of the more interesting botanical ingredients used in products for sensitive and compromised skin. Its triterpenoid components—including madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid—have been studied for their soothing, antioxidant and skin-repair-supporting properties.
The formula contains Centella asiatica extract at 100 ppm, complemented by the individual Centella-derived compounds. I would therefore consider Cica part of a broader soothing formulation rather than attributing the entire effect of the mask to a high concentration of Centella alone.
Glycerin and propanediol act as humectants, helping attract water to the stratum corneum and improve skin hydration. Allantoin and dipotassium glycyrrhizate provide additional soothing support, while tocopherol (vitamin E) contributes antioxidant activity.
The lightweight essence provides an immediate hydration boost, helping the skin feel softer, calmer and more comfortable after application.

Ideal For
Normal, combination, oily or dry skin experiencing temporary irritation, dehydration or environmental stress. It can also be useful when the skin needs a simple soothing and hydrating treatment.
Application
Application
- After cleansing and toning, apply the sheet mask evenly over the face.
- Leave on for approximately 15–20 minutes, then remove and gently pat the remaining essence into the skin.
- Do not rinse. Follow with moisturizer if needed.

- Centella asiatica and its isolated triterpenoids are useful supportive ingredients for calming and maintaining the skin barrier. However, this mask also contains eucalyptus, sage and juniper oils. Very reactive or fragrance-sensitive skin may therefore benefit from patch testing before use.
