Lightweight Emulsifying Cleansing Oil for Makeup, Sunscreen & Excess Sebum
This cleansing oil is designed to dissolve oil-soluble makeup, sunscreen and sebum before emulsifying with water and rinsing away. Its cleansing system is based on emollient esters and emulsifiers, supported by sunflower, macadamia, olive, jojoba and grape-seed oils.
Despite the “Pore Control” name, cleansing oils do not physically open, close or shrink pores. Their practical benefit is effective removal of sebum, sunscreen and makeup, which can leave pores looking cleaner and less congested.
Heartleaf extract is present, but relatively low in the ingredient list; it is therefore a supportive botanical rather than the main reason to choose this cleanser. The formula contains fragrance, which is worth considering for fragrance-sensitive or highly reactive skin.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride — lightweight emollient: Helps makeup and sunscreen dissolve while improving spreadability and the soft feel of the cleanser. Its role here is to support cleansing and comfort during use.
Sunflower Seed Oil — softening plant oil: Adds emollience to the cleansing blend and helps the oil spread smoothly. In this rinse-off product, its main contribution is the cleansing texture and skin feel.
Macadamia Seed Oil — richer emollience: Contributes a richer, cushioning texture during massage. It complements the lighter cleansing esters without making this cleanser a substitute for a leave-on moisturiser.
Olive Fruit Oil — conditioning oil: Supports the oil-based cleansing blend and gives it a soft, conditioned feel. It helps keep the massage step comfortable while the cleanser removes oil-soluble residue.
Jojoba Seed Oil — liquid wax ester: Jojoba is technically a liquid wax rather than a conventional plant oil. It adds slip and emollience, helping the formula glide over the skin during cleansing.
Grape Seed Oil — emollient support: Complements the other plant oils and contributes to the formula’s spreadability and smooth feel. Its practical role in this product is supportive rather than a targeted treatment for pores.
Heartleaf Extract (Houttuynia Cordata) — supportive botanical: Included as a botanical associated with soothing skincare. Its concentration is not disclosed, and this is a rinse-off formula, so I would view it as a supporting ingredient rather than promise the effects of a leave-on heartleaf treatment.
Tocopherol — vitamin E: An antioxidant that helps protect the oils in the formula from oxidation. Its presence in a rinse-off cleanser should not be interpreted as a dedicated antioxidant treatment for the skin.
