SQUALENE

It is an oily liquid that occurs naturally in some fish and plant oils and could be naturally produced by human skin as a part of a sebum. Squalane ways of action are emollience, surface occlusion and TEWL (Transepidermal Water Los) prevention. All in all, it is a moisturizer that makes the skin surface smooth without leaving a heavy feeling.

GLYCERINE

Glycerine is a humectant type of moisturizer that is also found naturally in our skin. It not only moisturises, but keeps lipids in our skin in a healthy state, protects against irritation, restores skin barrier. Effective in 3-10%. Although quite sticky, higher concentrated formulas with glycerine is great for treating extremely dry skin.

VITAMINE E

Tocopherol and tocopherol acetate are forms of a fat soluble vitamin, also called as vitamin E, a very powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants protect the skin from damaging free radicals, that attack the skin and cause inflammation and cellular damage. By doing so antioxidants are main ingredients preventing aging.

EMOLLIENTS

Emollients are ingredients in skincare products that help to moisturize and soften the skin. They work by forming a protective barrier on the surface of the skin, which helps to prevent moisture loss. This barrier can also help to smooth the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
