Key ingredients
Key ingredients
3-O-ETHYL ASCORBIC ACID
It is a more stable derivative of vitamin C. To offer all the primary benefits of vitamin C (brightening, wrinkle reduction, visible firming, fading hyperpigmentation), it must be converted to vitamin C within skin and therefore it is less irritating than its' pure form.
RUCOLA
On the skin, arugula is a good source of many antioxidants, minerals and vitamins, such as vitamin A and C, that help defend skin from environmental pollution.
ALOE VERA
Aloe vera plant is a great moisturizer with anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It also helps with skin healing and regeneration.
CAFFEINE
It is a small, water-loving molecule with pretty good skin penetration abilties. Once in the skin, it has nice antioxidant properties (helps to protect cells against the UV radiation and slows down the process of photoaging of the skin). A well-known property is that caffeine contained in skincare both constricts the vessels and improves the microcirculation of the skin, being one of the key ingredients in fighting dilated vessels and skin redness.
SQUALANE
It is an oily liquid that occurs naturally in some fish and plant oils and could be naturally produced by human skin as a part of a sebum. Squalane ways of action are emollience, surface occlusion and TEWL (Transepidermal Water Los) prevention. All in all, it is a moisturizer that makes the skin surface smooth without leaving a heavy feeling.
PLANKTON EXTRACT
A marine species known as Thalasso plankton and derived from various algae, seaweed, or marine skeletons. Like most forms of algae, it can have moisture-binding properties. However, there is not much research done on that.
