- After cleansing, soak a cotton pad and swipe a thin layer of the liquid over the skin, avoiding the eye and mouth area.
- For use during the daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.
COSRX AHA 7% Whitehead Power Liquid is a leave-on glycolic acid exfoliant for a rough-feeling surface, dullness and visible closed comedones. This is an active treatment step, not simply a hydrating toner.
Its 7% glycolic acid helps loosen the bonds between surface skin cells, supporting a smoother-looking texture with regular use. Niacinamide, panthenol and sodium hyaluronate complement the formula. What interests me is the clearly stated acid concentration: it helps you choose a purposeful exfoliant rather than relying on an AHA label alone.
Start on one evening per week on dry, intact skin, then increase only if comfortable. Follow with moisturiser and use sunscreen daily. Avoid stacking it with other exfoliants or retinoids initially; more exfoliation is not automatically better.

- Normal or combination skin with uneven surface texture.
- Dullness or closed comedones in acid-tolerant skin.
