AXIS Y recently (March 2023) launched a new formulation (Version 3.) of Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen. It is mugwort based sunscreen featuring 2% Niacinamide and Squalane that protects skin from UVA and UVB damage while providing the healing properties of skin-loving ingredients. The formula has recently been upgraded, following the feedback from skincare community. The texture has been improved to an essence-gel finish, with Hyaluronic Acid added for additional hydration and the herbal fragrances have been excluded.

This sunscreen uses reef safe ingredients (only physical active ingredients) that leave minimal to no whitecast, stickiness, or pilling for no stress to our mornings and the environment.

Key ingredients

ZINK OXIDE

Zinc oxide is one of the physical sun-protecting ingredients. It protects against UVB, UVA II, and UVA I and is considered to be the broadest range sunscreen available today. It’s both antimicrobial, anti-irritant and non-pore clogging, which makes it the perfect sun protectant for sensitive or acne-prone skin. Zink oxide is definitely one of the best option out there for sun protection available worldwide.

NIACINAMIDE

Also called as vitamin B3, it is a real superstar with many benefits to the skin: it smoothes the wrinkles, fades brown spots, strengthens skin barrier. It can also improve skin problems such as acne, rosacea and atopic dermatitis.

SQUALANE

It is an oily liquid that occurs naturally in some fish and plant oils and could be naturally produced by human skin as a part of a sebum. Squalane ways of action are emollience, surface occlusion and TEWL (Transepidermal Water Los) prevention. All in all, it is a moisturizer that makes the skin surface smooth without leaving a heavy feeling.
