BETAINE SALICYLATE

It is a fatty acid derived from the sugar beet plant. It is a combination of salicylic acid, a famous exfoliant ant Betaine, a great moisturizer. It counts as a mild exfoliant, natural moisturizer and skin smoothing agent. Although Betaine salicylate is similar to salicylic acid, but unlike it, it is surprisingly gentle on the skin. It is generally accepted that betaine salicylate is twice as gentle as salicylic acid: 4% betaine salicylate product is similar to a 2% salicylic acid one.

SALICYLIC ACID

Salicylic acid (SA) is a BHA widely used for treating problem skin, such as acne, blackheads, whiteheads, and large pores. It is considered the gold standard next to benzoyl peroxide for treating akne. SA exfoliates the skin's surface and pores, making it effective in treating blackheads and preventing acne formation. Additionally, SA is a potent anti-inflammatory agent, making it helpful for acne and rosacea. At-home products with 0.5-2% SA are effective and gentle enough for daily use, with 2% being the maximum strength allowed in at-home products in the EU.

SODIUM HYALURONATE

t's a salt form of a famous hyaluronic acid (HA), anatural moisturising factor(NMF).It is more stable and has lower molecular weight than HA, therefore penetrates deeper into the epidermis (till stratum granulosum).

HYDROLIZED HYALURONIC ACID

This is the hydrolysate of hyaluronic acid, meaning it has been chemically split up intosmaller fragments. It has a lower molecular weight compared to regular hyaluronic acid, which allows it topenetrate the skin more deeply.

HYALURONIC ACID

It is also called a natural moisturising factor, because it is naturally found in skin and can bind up water up to 1000 times its own weight. Depending on its molecular weight it can deliver this water into different layers of the skin making skin look plump and hydrated.
